Clinical Psychologist
Zack graduated from University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology degree, and subsequently with a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University (Singapore). Upon graduation, he has spent years working in the public healthcare setting, overseeing both inpatient and outpatient scenarios.
In his therapeutic practice, Zack manages a broad range of mental health concerns including Personality Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Difficulties, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). With a strong belief in building resilience and agency, Zack works closely with young clients and their families to promote healthy psychological development, navigate self-concept challenges, improve coping skills, and foster emotional regulation and tenacity.
Trained in a variety of psychotherapy modalities including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy, Zack employs an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from the abovementioned modalities to form a therapeutic format that caters to the clients’ individual needs.
As an advocate for self-agency, Zack strives to provide a warm and collaborative space for clients to explore personal challenges at their own pace and consequently, go on a shared journey to develop greater emotional awareness, healthier relationships, and a more cohesive sense of self.
Beyond therapy, Zack has experience in conducting psychological assessment for children and adolescents (e.g., WISC-V) to facilitate placement for special education.
Outside of his clinical work, Zack enjoys doodling and going on road trips with family and friends.
Zack provides therapy in English and Mandarin.
