Shin Huey holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) in Singapore and a Degree in Health Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in Australia. In 2013, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master in Clinical Gait and Sports Biomechanics from the University of Robert Gordon in Scotland, United Kingdom. She has over 18 years of experience as a Physiotherapist working with children and women in KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).

She has worked in acute inpatient to outpatient settings, providing physiotherapy interventions to clients of various ages and conditions, including newborns with respiratory and or musculoskeletal issues, physical disabilities, developmental delays, and children with special needs. She also works with children and adolescents with chronic pain and hopes to empower individuals with skills to cope and return to their daily functions and activities.

Her clinical area of interest is in movement analysis. She is one of the pioneers who helped set up the Clinical Gait and Movement Laboratory in KKH, which sees children with dyspraxia, cerebral palsy and movement disorders such as dystonia, tics, and ataxia.

Shin Huey and her family have a passion for exploring the world through caravan trips and camping adventures.

Shin Huey provides therapy in English and Mandarin.
